Eliama Daily Value: A wealth of bioactive ingredients with high antioxidant potential
Eliama Contains over 200 various chemical compounds including sterols, carotenoids, triterpene alcohols and phenolic compounds. Oleuropein, oleacein, hydroxytyrosol – the main phenolic compounds act as a direct free radical reducers.
The wealth of minerals phosphorus, potassium, vitamin D, and provitamin A have an antiatherosclerotic and protective effects on the nervous system.

The health claim for polyphenols in olive oil Regarding olive oil, 16 petitions belonging to the category Article 13.1 (a) ‘general function’ claims of the regulation were submitted. The only authorised health claim, listed in the Commission Regulation (EU) No 432/2012, relates to the level of olive phenolic compounds and the impact on the protection of blood lipids from oxidative stress.
